Excellent idea Frankie. Let's just say that mom has an odd sense of humor. She has a thing for opposites. I think it is sort of to get a rise out of people. You will see what I mean.

Kitty Kat here. Boy, my name sure confuses people and especially KIDS. They cannot understand for the life of them that I am not a cat. They do the head turn and say "Kitty is a dog? Huh?". Not only does my mom just like the name Kitty, but she likes that a kitty is the opposite of a dog. Call it a conversation piece. My name should have been momma's little scaredy baby because I am very needy. Why jump down from the bed when mom can do it for me? I call that smart, folks. Turns out that I do have bug pouncing/killing in common with real cats. Go figure.

Heee, cute stories! Apparently this opposite naming thing happens from time to time. My neighbor's daughter had a golden retriever, cute as can be, big as can be, hairy as can be, that she named Kitty Cat. Confusing people isn't always a bad thing -- it keeps them on their toes!
