Family..Can't live with them, Am not allowed to live without them

Sorry to have been away for so long furiends! Mom and Dad took some vacay time in Florida, and we had an in-home dog sitter. We had Ms. JoAnne wrapped around our paws in no time. She is possibly the best pup-sitter ever. Can you believe she woke up at 4:30am to walk us so that we wouldn't get too hot? Yep. Oh yeah, and we had her convinced we wouldn't eat unless she hand fed us kibble by kibble, tee hee heee. Anyway, we can't wait to catch up with everyone's doings. In the mean time, thought we would show you the, um, OTHER side of the ol' family tree. Our evil, dastardly, long-snouted cousins Sadie and Tinkerbell.

Tinkerbell....She is elderly but as mean as ever. Ok, so she is blind, practically deaf, and has a jacked-up grill, but don't feel sorry for her. She flies around biting at our ankles all day!
And this is Sadie, the over-sized dapple doxie bully. Cute, yes. But seriously folks, she is like, 30 lbs, and lurks around waiting to bite us. The big moose throws her weight around too, let me tell you.
She is right behind me isn't she??? MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daddy will protect me from the evil ones...

Belated Pittie Post Day for Corbin

Well...I guess life has been a little busy fur us, and by busy, I mean CRAZY busy. Trips out of town (we got to go, woo-hoo! And a thank you to Aunt Carol for welcoming us), weddings, family events, holidays, etc...
Anyhoo, we didn't get to do the post for our Pitty pals. See, this day was all about raising awareness of how awesome the pittie breeds can be. Seriously awesome. We have all heard the negative press these guys get, and in our opinion that is bullying at its best. ANY dog that is mistreated or neglected can have issues. And some dogs just have a 'Tude (hello cousin Tinkerbell who is a chihuahua) for no reason at all. A little kindness can go a long way folks, and proper training for any type of dog can really do wonders.
I present to you my best Pittie impersination. See, I look giganto here with my pal Ruby though I am a small Bostie.
Truth is, I have probably five pittie neighbor pups. I kid you not, they are all extremely well behaved. My next door neighbor is a petite pittie girl who I just adore. See, when she moved in Mom was a little hesitant thinking that prospective buyers of our house would be jaded by her. But she never makes a peep even if you walk right by her kennel, and has been a great neighbor. Heck, I go NUTSO if I even hear the mailman.

So there you have it. Check out Corbin's blog for some seriously handsome dude Pitty eye candy and info.

Birthday Festivities for Kitty Part 1..

The Birthday girl was taken to our favorite yogurt shop for the new flavor, which is right up her alley....PEANUT BUTTER!
So what if the party hat was sliding down a smidge too far. Is she not the cutest in her party hat?
Coco with "pig nose" eating her yogurt.
 Pug tested, Boston approved.
 Two paws up Mama!
What?? Do I have ice cream on my mouth or something?

Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3..

It's My Birthday! I'm 6

Yep, Mom says my pawty is tonight and we are going for frozen yogurts. Yeah Baby!!! Let's take a walk down Memory Lane..
Oldie but a goodie. My first night home snoozing with Dad. I was just an infant and didn't do much.
But a couple of months later I started playing with toys.
Still got tired pretty easily. The red thing was Pal. I played wif him for a year and then all the sudden one day I went psycho doggy on him and ripped him to shreds. Pooped out a whole ear. Mom wasn't impressed.
Me in my "kitty cube". Complete with fur disco ball. I'm at the adolescent doofy stage here. My ears flipped forward for the longest time.
Oh brother. These are embarrassing. Yes, Mom forced me to go to obedience school (what a joke, I'm a BT). I graduated with high honors..considering the chihuahuas in the class tried to bite everyone and the Min Pin well...come on, the kid never did a SINGLE thing he was supposed to. I think he is actually trying to growl at me in the pic below.
And now I enter into my 6th year of life with much better manners, a glaucoma'd eye, a pug sister who sticks to me like glue, a balding tail/nub), and Pawrents who think I hung the moon and baby me every day. Not bad. Could use more frozen Kongs though, just saying.

Kitty

Note from Mom: I can't believe Kitty is 6 already. We got her a month after we got married and she IS our baby. She has added so much to my life and marriage. I love every flaw and every fine quality about her because that is just Kitty.
