New Paintings - A Pink Pit Bull named Daisy

This painting was done as a donation to the Two Pitties in the City raffle to help rescue two bullies. Two bullies that require extra medical care and were in desperate need. Daisy the Pink Pitbull won! This is her custom portrait.
Isn't she just beautimous? If you look close you can see the pink around her nose and eyes.

Speaking of eyes.. Daisy has pretty hazel eyes, and the cutest spotted nose you will ever see.
These are her siblings, Roscoe and Mouse.

This guy is a mix, but on the smaller side. He and Mouse are besties.
Mouse loves to sun all day and snuggle with Daisy.
And finally, we will end with a Pug of course! Made this one for the Easter Pugs on Parade event hosted by the Alabama Pug Rescue. These guys run a first rate rescue and really care about the homes their pugs go to.
Tried out a textured technique, though it showed up much better in real life.
I finally added a widget for my paintings. Better late than never, right?

Yay for Mom's!

We don't let mom post too many pics with her in them, but since it was Mom's day Sunday, we are going to post all of our favorites. Bear with us people.
Mom takes us to see our grandpop at work...
And gives us smooches (even though Coco isn't so hot on them).. She says she likes the jowls the best.
And gets RIDICULOUSLY excited when we reach a milestone, such as riding nicely in our new car seat..
And helps us find a snack..
And brushes Coco's teeth when she eats poo...YUCK!!!!!!! Gotta have good dental health these days..
And plays claw any time, any where...
We looooves it!
And makes us pose for family pics because she thinks we are the cutest pups in the world..
And makes pretty dang tasty birthday cakes with the particular ingredients that we each like best (HINT HINT..Banana)..And snuggles us any free moment (we have assigned seating)..
And tucks us in when we need a good nap..
Happy Mother's Day to all of the pup moms and Grandmoms out there.

Now for Mom's gift especially from us...

She loved it! A must have for any pug mom you know.

Love, Kitty and Coco

Sunflower Ice Cream Social

Beep Beep!!!!! Loading up and heading out to our girl Wima's Sunflower club event. See, we are honoring new club members. Welcome all. Woo-hoo!!

While Kitty and I were in the hot air balloon we spied Sluggy Bee! Dang those Fire Hydrant Boys...they are nosy as all get-out. Cute, but nosy. When will they learn that girls rule!

Here we are posing in our Sunday finest eating our ice cream. Cue Southern accent -"Why yes Minnie honey, I will have a double scoop, thank ya for askin". Minnie Moo is watching her figure for a trip to the beach, so she is wistfully watching others have a treat. Brigitte and Wilma just look DEEEVINE! "Did you see that Sluggy bee buzzin around? Tika and Kizzy were on him like white on rice". "Bless his heart".

Easter Pressies from our Beefcakes!

Hold onto your hats friends. We got some fabulous Easter gifts from our special guys.
Align CenterLook at my honey-dip Oakley! He and his bro Swisher are sooo thoughtful to send us framed pics. Now we can swoon any time we wish.
Isn't he handsome? His mom must have known that was my very favorite pic of him. I can't take my googly eyes off of him.
Swisher really worked it for the camera in his t-shirt.
The boys sent us little white flower charms for our collars. I wasn't really posing nicely for mom.
Pretty pretty jewelry.
Keeping with the theme, they sent flower treats. So girly and yummy!
Now onto the main event...STUFFIES!
GRRRRRR....GRRRRR...
Dis is the bestest present. Mom won't buy them for us because we tear them up so fast. What a treat! He looks happy now, but give me a few minutes..
Notice that the black and white one was for Kitty and the tan one was for me. We must color coordinate you know.
Whoah!
Tug tug.
Jump!
Don't even THINK of taking this away from me mom. I'm just now getting the ear loose.
Golly this is fun.

Thank you so much Oakley and Swisher!!!!! (And thanks to your mom for helping with shipping).

Pugs on Parade Event 2011 - Part 2

This event was sponsored by the Alabama Pug Rescue. LOVE this organization. They truly care about their pups and search for the best home possible for them.
Momma's sweet baby Coco Puff.
Kitty getting jealous and insisting on being held for the next 15 minutes.
Here's a closer look at our tshirts. They are girl's toddler shirts (on sale) from Old Navy! We are a perfect fit for the 12-18 months old size. SCORE!!!!! Our boys Oakley and Swisher posted about wearing kids shirts so we gave it a try.
See my shirt Oakley? Puppy love...I'm getting all bashful and pink faced...Picked it out just for you.
Chillin' with Daddy. I don't sit on the cold, hard ground. Nope.
Heather and Lulu..Awwwww...Doesn't she look pretty in her dress?
The fashions were fabulous. This guy had his Easter tie on looking handsome.
BUTT (pun intended), we had hair appointments and had to go.
Hey, I FINK I DOT SUMTHIN ON MY TONGUE..GET IF OFFFF..
There we go. All better. I think I might fall asleep in about sixty seconds. We had a pawsome time and got to see our peeps. Wake me up in a couple of days..ZZZZZZZZZZ.
