A Case of the Sleepies..

Go away Mom..I can't be bothered with my eye drops this morning.
(******SNORE-----CURTAINS SUCKING IN------SNORTLE********)

Ever get the sleepies?

NOTE: Kitty is totally over her bout with welts and whatever she was allergic to. Two days of Benadryl dosing did the trick. Her breathing was not in any danger though the welts looked pretty nasty. Trust me, I watched her like a hawk and had sitters for when I had to leave. We will be keeping a close, watchful eye on any new treats that she gets.

However, she hates mornings! Just like Mom. She prefers to sleeep in..deep under the covers and not be bothered until 11 am.

Debbie Downer Thursday...Need Advice Please!

Mom, I don't feel so good.
OHHHHH my poor baby! In case you are wondering, Kitty is normally as slick and smooth as a wet seal.
The whelps are pretty bad on her legs and feet, although the pic doesn't represent it accurately.
The stupid whelps are even on my face! See that ghastly cluster on my lip? I is miserable and have just been sitting here whining.
Back view. Looks like I gots a second tail growing. There is even a whelp on my poop shooter. This stinks..

Mom here. I was in tears as I discovered Kitty's allergic reaction right as I was leaving for work. Thank goodness my mother-in-law came right over to watch her. Benadryl makes the whelps go down for a while, but then they come back. Kitty is not one to eat random things and our house is kept like a surgery center as far as things not being left out to chew or eat. The only new thing she had was a dehydrated sweet potato treat. She has had sweet potato before and not had this reaction so I am worried it was maybe a spider??? But it does seem like the new treat and the reaction go hand in hand. This started yesterday morning. About every 9 hours the whelps come back (I assume when the meds wear off). Please give me some advice here!! Should I take her to the dogtor? Has this happened to any of your pups?

I have been accused of over-reacting with Kitty and rushing the vet in the past so my husband says to give it a couple of days...I do not like this at ALL.

Thanks,
Concerned Mama

We Will Miss You Sophie

Will go to bed tonight for the first time without sophiepug on my pillow to snore me to sleep...heavy heart...burning eyes...hoping the pain is a little less day by day. I am thankful for the 4 and a half years with her and the joy she brought to our lives. I have never loved a dog more...
These were Sophie's Mom's words on Sunday. Sophie fought a good fight against Lymphoma. We know she can now run without getting tired and eat until her heart's content at the Rainbow bridge. Our puggie furiend will surely be thought of often and missed.

Christmas Pics in Places We Shouldn't Be..

See? Santa Claws initials right there.
Um...are we going to get kicked out?
Gross..I think Santa's butt smells a little.
I could really use some of that red nail polish in cosmetics. Just saying.
You will never guess where we were in this little photo shoot...

That would be a very popular chain pharmacy store.

While we are not supposed to be in there, Mom saw this fancy Santa seat setup with no Santa. Of course she jumped on that like a duck on a june bug. She did, sort of quickly ask an unsuspecting worker if we could take the pic. The worker lady wasn't sure, so Mom said "Thanks! We will be right down". Bahaha.

Turns out that 90% of people in the store loved us, and only one rude lady told us we should really check out PetSmart for pictures. Get your panties out of a wad Mrs. Scrooge! We were there all of 90 seconds.

Happy Thanksgiving! As you can see...

Me and cousin Bosco with my grandpawrent Nana. Us puggers stick together..like glue..like white on rice.
Want to know the BEST thing about grandpawrents? The feed you. Even when Mom says no. They sneak around and act like they didn't notice we were licking the plates. Awesomeness!!

Kitty Mitchell....Your snooter is getting awefully close.
slurp slurp, lick lick.
The sharks are circling.Whoah!
Busted Nana!!

Bosco boy, you are about to be in the doghouse. I'm pretty sure the table is off limits.
What???? I'm just sitting here twiddling my paws.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope you got as much illegal table scraps as we did!

Pugs and Pumpkins Event - Halloween Part 2

SEPRA is a pawsome rescue organization that has an annual Pugfest in Georgia. This is our second year to go. There are pugs as far as the eye can see....
And treats. Lots of treats. Mom..........I see those!
So many furiends to meet and greet. Bonjour Mr. Frenchy! Don't be trying to give me any fancy tongue kisses now...I have a boyfriend.
I'm taller than you. And I have more wrinkles.
Yeah..but my costume beats yours.
Isn't this guy just the cutest ever? He was in jail for a minute.
Now that is what you call a spoiled pugger.
Hey dinosaur...I like your curl.
This our pal Pete. We were Pugfest neighbors.

Our hometown pal Harry Pugalicious won the most wrinkles contest!!! Way to show those folds.
Stiff (ok, well, metaphorically) competition.
Mooooooomm....quit snapping pics and get us a pupcake. Like NOW please.
Hello senior puggie...Wanna hit the early bird special at Denny's later?

Stay tuned for the next installment. We got about 2,487 pics.

Stupid Costume Recap..Halloween Part 1

Mom realized that she didn't post our Halloween pics. You know, the ones that are totally embarrassing. Why do humans get such a kick out of making us wear stuff on our heads?? Laugh it up. Guess this is payback for sort of, kind of, eating two tissues this weekend.

ImageChef Sketchpad - ImageChef.com

Yeah, the best part is that these were MADE especially for us by our dear ol' mother. Gee, thanks. Not only did we have to wear them for two events, but we also had to go through the torture of fittings and pattern making. I might not complain about being a unicorn next year if it saves me this whole charade.

Almost Wordless Wednesday - Kitty Edition

HAILP!!!! The camera ate my ears!!!
